II. Depression the Agonizing

by Widdershins
 Age Group: Adult

As Depression did horribly fail so had won Depression the second, following his father’s trail and now the oppressed people greet with heavy heart the new reign as the Agonizing comes aboard to take his sulking claim pertaining to his majesty’s style, he kills agonizingly slowly with a cruel smile, surreptitiously licking wounds until they ache making their devouring an agonizingly long wait unheard of in the Molester’s rule this time the one doomed to die is the Fool. Caged in advertent limbo is trapped Comfort, Solace and even Joy and the Agonizing plays with his aunt’s heart like a toy murdering her lovely works before her eyes, until all Comfort and Solace hear are her cries. On his throne of knurly wood from ghastly trees does his unending winter torture the core of all weaves he coldly strips Heart’s chest bare and softly calls out the horrors locked away in there
…to his cold command all are silent and grave no one daring to laugh for fear of his agonizing wrath and crying from loneliness and in shame does his consort, Malice, give birth to Lady Pain…
The Agonizing’s tyranny is boundless and enhanced as the gladiator Suffering thrusts his cruel lance and from the blooming pools of blood, silver escapes as Heart harshly spits out the poison that had been lying in wait and these wraiths drifted across my face as mention arises of unspeakable names… Subjected to Fear, the people wail through the aggressive agreement of Wind’s icy gale and for a moment Heart stops dead, light fleeing his eyes as he sadly shakes his head before uttering the most bitter laugh of scorn and all fall down before the True King to mourn— but Heart had done the unforgivable, and Depression’s efforts to squelch his life did triple, but with this laugh, Heart felt renewed and he could withstand the hailstorm from the Cruel… The Agonizing’s pale face turns whiter than before as his Cruel dream returns to him tattered and torn, then, onto the stage steps quietly Lord Madness, and with one smile envelopes Depression with the arms of his daughter, Sadness, and Depression, stricken with feeling, feels his unheard of “touched” sent reeling and Sorrow's words have made the Agonizing weep while Lord Madness casts over him the veils of eternal sleep…
