Up-growing elegance and a glass of champagne

A finite step
she turns to the left
and with a glass of champagne in hand,
the power of disdain crashed
the nobility in her cheeks
came outward to manner
and in her poverty did
the elegance scatter
to find home in art and movement
no jest could slander the improvement—
grown little flower, about to bloom
no one dared chide that it was too soon
and with a glass of champagne in hand,
the power of disdain crashed
the nobility in her blood
only radiated what nobles lack
the hour, late perhaps
the time, passing
closing the year before
closing all of the unlocked doors
to leave, drift
elegantly from the past
through the wind blown leaves
does the silent wraith pass
and with a glass of champagne in hand,
the power of disdain crashed
the nobility at her fingers
spun enemies no longer
now it is
but a mere glass…
…empty, as it were,
like the sky is on a sunny morn
but now there is no sun… instead,
the rain has begun
and with a glass of champagne in hand,
the power of disdain crashed
the nobility in her heritage
was a thread long lost
and with the passing of time
her words chimed to a rhyme
and the art that was the scatter
drew a wonderful pattern
of a little flower, grown up
about to bloom
for her Lord Sun…
the transformation
of the little one
has begun…
