Delicately torn

by Widdershins

Age Group: Adult

I can only hope for time to wake me
when I fall away from roses and the
daisies alone in my own darkened way…
“A moment, my friend!” I would say sweetly,
“Take your leave here yet cherish the thought
of me before the fires flaming true
let me look at you with real honesty…”
I can see through this as if I always
knew this – it is true! just let me look at
you… your form so delicately torn now
you are torn now within me only now,
and never again to see light of day
I shine solely here; I am your dark death,
I am your sweet desirous last breath, yes…
Turn around and see that moon catch its glaze
and it does make you swoon in dreamy waves
of conscience and dusty indulgence now…
wait for the sounding of your undoing
watch me move between trees and browned old leaves
a sprite to catch fancy? I think not of
such things, they are irrelevant to me
again I’m back from whence I came such a
nuisance of a sweet dream; I hope for time
to wake me when I fall away from the
roses and sweet endearments for my ears…
awaken me, but do it ever so
gently, please… I do not wish to leave those
dreams in the harsh claws of reality…
Illusion accosts! my dearest Goddess,
what trickery blights the depth of my night?
Expand, delude, contract and once again
scream your silent name to the deaf and mute
skies of blood red wine and honey moonshine…
This is your transition? why… I never
knew such things could happen all in one deep
and frightfully dark corner of my mind…
I can only hope for this Lord of Time
to bring back what is rightfully
and solely mine from those thieves and those fiends…!
Taking such precious things from me, how dare
they take my vicious glare and continue
to blatantly dishonor the name of
my own home kin and world; who are they, but
damned and forgone souls lost in this cruel world…
You again… your form so delicately
torn between my gentle paws and in my
maw, how I wish to bite through to your bone…
you will always be mine… and only my own…
