To A Christian Witch Who Feels Outcast

To be a human is a hard thing
To be Christian is hard
To be Pagan is hard.
To be both is a feat.
I have been pressured to be a Christian
By one of my closest friends.
Yet, I blame her not
NOR Christianity
Nor God.
I believe in harmony
I believe in the Goddess and God
I believe that they are all one and the same-
Imagine that!
That we all fight one another,
We pressure one another to worship
The same entity with a different face.
We reject others who believe in the same
We outcast our own.
I accept all religions because I am a part of one myself.
And the Superior Man does not throw a stone in a glass house-
Nor throw it at himself.
If anyone accuses a Christian Witch of being neither Christian nor Pagan, it would be as bad as in Harry Potter, where the Slytherins only believe that 'Pure Bloods' are real magicians.
Author's Notes: As the title says, to a Christian Witch. I respect you for being what you are. As far as I'm concerned, your a Pagan, and your a Christian. :D And I respect you for being what you want to be, for standing up for your beliefs by pointing out the 'White Elephant in the Living Room', namely that some Pagans don't accept Christian Witches as one of them, and most Christians definately don't accept Christian Witches as one of them for their belief in magickal things.
Like in my poem 'Left Out', I also felt like I'm neither fish nor foul, although different topic. That's about countries- not quite the same thing, but too close for comfort.
I hope this makes you feel better, and smile...
