To incontent Heart

Age Group: Adult
And though you wander alone
Rest now, Soul, it is time to rest
What has been taken away will not be gone forever
Just until you’ve past the endurance test.
Cruel it is, but have faith, my friend
Love will catch up to you in the end!
Soar through the air, continue the battle and turn it into love
Shape your shield from the clouds
Wield your sword of wisdom
And do but gently approach…
Rest now, for a moment before you go on
Soon, you shall see a new breaking dawn
A sun on the horizon you have not yet seen
What you see now is a new day, a new life
And though some Souls remember what you did yesterday
You are still reborn, inside your shell
Rest now, Soul, until you have your strength
And when you do, pass this fearful test!
Love will catch up, don’t fear to leave it behind
Because it will be waiting ahead of you, oh, yes, it twists your mind.
Laugh now, and ease your pain
Dear Soul, you shall love again!
Author's Notes: For incontent Heart, I read your poem, and I had a sudden inspiration from it.
