I stare upon the sun, upon it's crystal frozen fires
It knows of what I want, of my blackest, deep desires
My power courses through my veins, grows stronger with my breath
Naught on the Earth can end my might, no life, not even death
I hear Athena's siren song in the beauty that it flows
I know my life as now it is is drawing to a close
Morality has transformed to an ever darkening grey
I fear inside the dark is more enticing than the day
The flames that burn inside this shell have challenged space and time
Inferno's intense heat was cooled by taunting worthless rhyme
Joy was felt when mortal fools eternal life proclaimed
In my time all will tremble at mere mention of my name
Somnambulism state has fallen on cerulean sky
Delve into the silence and I hear the angels cry
Of the ignorance of the world, watch their tears that flow
In a dammed corrupted stream, as the light is now our foe
Undying night, you beckon me, I cry aloud in pain
Blood falls in saturation, in a dying crimson rain
Descent is now upon us, as time is short, now know
I fear only eternal solitude, as a lonely dispirate soul
Author's Notes: Ok, notes...
Sorry about the narcissism, I was in one of my 'I am a God' moods when I wrote this. So yeah, it's fairly self explainatory in general. Why am I writing notes on it? Anyway...
