She, her pets.... and I? u? Us? Them? Who?

by the doc

Age Group: Adult

She can be meek like a serene dove
She can be strong like a desert lioness
She can be cute and witty and graceful
She can be intelligent and nutty and thoughtful
And boy she can stare
She can uplift me and
She can put me down to the nadirs of the innermost silence
Yet I wonder...

She likes to dream in today’s reality
I want to shape reality according to my dreams
She is aware of the shortcoming of being good
I want goodness to come however short it is
She is expectant
I am hesitant
She is sensitive
I am arrogant
She wishes and she hopes
I have no hopes for wishes
She likes to await promises being fulfilled
I like being I, fulfilling my own promises
She doesn’t mind dogmatic obscurity
I have a definite mind to despite obscure anonymity
She is impatient enough to quarrel
I am patient enough to be silent
She is a confusion
I’d like to undo the puzzle
She lives in the world for the world
I am for the world as far as I can live in it
She is satisfied judging on the social status
I judge society till my status is satisfied
She is certain about life
I am certain about death
She looks for brightness in every dark spot
I look for ‘lightedness’ in every bright spot
She is accessible to those who dominate her
I dominate those whom I am accessible to
She is afraid of chains, of freedom
I am free to chain down fright
She is emotional enough to be a sceptic
I am cynical enough to be sentimental
She submerges what should float
I float on what should be submerged
She tries to lock herself into everything
I try to key out of everything
She hates haste in moments
I hate moments to be wasted
She performs many acts of confusion
I reform my acts to confuse her
She likes to submit and befriend loss
I’d like to lose than submit for a friend
She creates misery by being tolerant
I am intolerant of all the miserables
She likes to fight till pointed different
I am indifferent to pointless fights
She likes to sulk and repeatedly blame
I blame myself for repeatedly sulking
She likes to discover when she’s happy
I’d be happy to discover something
She likes to leave people hanging
I’d like to hang people, then leave
She’d like to
I just like
She’s truthful about swindling
I truly swindle hypocrites
She likes to be safe sound secure vaulted
I like to be sound about securing my safe vault
She can be so ignorant to be stupid
I feel so stupid to be ignorant
She can be so conventional to be orthodox
I am quite orthodox about the unconventional
She’s so rigid in obstinacy
I am obstinate about being rigid
She has her flaws and she identifies none
I have my vices to plead guilty
She screams if I’m pessimistic
I’m pessimistic enough to scream
She’d cry if this relation breaks
I’d break any relation which is filled with crying
She likes me to like her
I like her when I see myself in her
She is so
So am I

I dream that once you will wake up from yours..

Where memory is judged by the ability to forget....

Where people are taught to tread on thorns and then contemplate the essence of fragrance..

Doubts haunt the mind with unanswered questions, silence fills the emptiness within with wonder....

earrings in shapes of crocodiles...
bracelets of rubies...
platinum lined wired rings
Ali baba and the 40
fifty men on a dead meek man's chest...
and a bottle of good ol' rum n coke...
how else does one stifle time?
any better ideas...
well one may pretend to be
a fancy-dress chap and act like the Yeti!
Attila, Mussolini, Hitler, Gandhi
there are enough popular historical figures to emulate..
begging now-a-days is not fashionable...
alms collectors union have advertised for only
pretty looking children, young unwed widowed mothers..
somnabulists, tight-rope walking acrobatic boys and girls
flexibility in this profession is a must,
besides begging
they can also help hermaphrodites in clapping loudly
at crossroads..
dance alongwith monkeys, snakes or bears
circus owners and their pimps, touts, agents etc.
are on the lookout too!!
all the best..[needless to say, a bollywood play!]
