Mahabharat - an Indian Historical Epic

by the doc

Age Group: Adult

Leela, a word both in Hindi and Sanskrit
does not exactly have an English conterpart...
some call it divine play, sport, time-pass, pastime etc.
So, if you compare numbers
the greatest genocide ever performed was 5 millenia ago..
between warring brothers [Remember Kane and Abel!!]
guess the author? was it Geoffrey Archer?
so, whats wrong with bad spelling or atrocious grammar..
nothing, why?
if you don't mind, it dosen't matter [Sri Sri, AOL foundation]
Hence, certain things were explained by a demon
Vrutrasura [Shreemad Bhaagwata, an Indian scripture]
he sacrificed his life
so that Indra, the appointed king of heaven would live
so that Jayanta, Indra's son would take a form of a crow
and hurt the Divine Mother..
so that action and food which prolong life
will impart a healthy post-poned death for humans
we are not talking about eternal immortals here, r v?
so life enhanced by whatsoever years
if you do not die by back-stabbing or starvation or terrorism
will be your value, remember - Health is wealth
besides, if you want to follow Vrutrasura, the beast
he had an intense desire to be virtuous in conduct
so knowing God, and His Leela
he died..
but taught that emancipation was a counter-gift he received
so he was, is and will remain glad..
it is also said that by teaching this sequence to sages
even the author Veda Vyas of the Mahabharat
thought that the historical epic was incomplete in some way
so, he thought of writing
the Shreemad Bhaagwata Maha Purana
and so this story
Happy days to you of devotion...
lovin you,
with grandeur, heroism, auspiciousness, valour, knowledge, and decided determined detachment...
darlin'
