The Tao

by the doc

Age Group: Adult

Acceptable solitude is maturity
or choiced optionlessness !!
Nothing is better than nonsense
or willed exile !
Stagnant competence
or distorted introspection
Intricate word wizardry
individual interpretations
the TAO....
hence,
heartfelt congratulations or condolences
make no difference
if the commitment to the assignment of keeping
yourself equanimous, balanced or poised is taken
a little seriously, what say for a change?
instead of blank faces dancing for god knows what..
as far as their tummys are fed, and booze is on the house
the multitude of 'freely available' takers are aplenty
free food outside mosques, churches, temples etc.
what queues
beggars live a life of luxury
footpath, sleep anywhere
no hassles of house or hotel hunting
food, given...
no problem of choosing
bread one day or all days
no pizzas, burgers, swiss-chocolates or cakes..
so what
atleast the hassle of going to the fish market
or the vegetable vendor is over...
either way, what was so amazing or awe-inspiring
about different delicacies everyday
gourmet is for connoisseurs
chefs are not hired by those whose arms are
outstretched for alms [cash or goods or clothes]
hence, wandering listlessly - purposelessly
futility is so fruitful,
you ask only for directions...
needless to say nobody would entertain your opinion
for anything else is a different story,
kindly traffic policemen oggling over new female recruits
kids who want to play nasty pranks on strangers
auto drivers who themselves have pawned and mortgaged
means of livelihood might advise, at times,
if generous might even give lifts, free of charge drive in cars..
a serene and a beautiful location can be helpful
provided there is no risk to life...
how can that be?
whether we choose to do - what?
or to quit - what?
risk remains [repetition, alliteration, puny pogroms]
hence again..
seeking the refuge
of the Tao, or the Buddha
