I Learnt To Fly

Neon lights beckoned
The glass door summoned
Open, shut
Enter, enter
My paralyzed eyes
Transfixed
O, such beauteous wings
They come out with!
Angels, Fairies, unique each
But, why they smiled in pain?
Braving through the admit
Faced the proudest receiver
Lovely Maiden
Offer me your innocence
I’ll put you on a brazier
Bore sharp into the scapular arch
Your chosen wings.
It’ll bleed, yes for few days
Then flutter and you fly
In the air, by the wind
Over the city skyline.
My paralyzed eyes
Transfixed
O, such monstrous canines
His face came out with!
Demonic, satanic, but
How is he growing tall
Too dangerously tall?
Sprinted out the door
Onto the road, ran ran
Harder I ran, till
I didn’t reach the strand.
Panting, standing ashore
The saline sea beckoned
The mad wind tugged me
Push, pull
Flutter, fly
My eyes brave with shine
O, such salty tears
You come out with!
