Emptiness

It seems so long ago,
When you'd say things from your heart.
You were never hiden
Showing your feelings whenever you could.
You said love was what you felt,
But you were afriad.
Not long after she show'd up,
And I'm left alone.
I'm left to wonder,
What was my blunder?
Did I hold on to you to tight?
What is so horrid about me?
I see you every week,
And it tears me up inside.
Not knowing why,
All I have now is memories.
Memories that hurt,
That cause tears to fall.
That cause sleepless nights,
Hungerless days.
Nothing I do seems worthwhile,
I can find joy in nothing.
I have never felt this,
Emptiness......
