The Curse

The curse
When the night has fallen the moon came out
From the heart of the forest the story has sought
Three good witches with robes in the air
Chanting and dancing to kill their despair
Hated by the village “The Devil Spouses”
All they ever cared for is to protect their houses
On this blessed night they evoked the power
To celebrate the sabbat on this holly hour
While talking to the Elders and drawing the light
To protect their hometown from the eternal night
A man was passing, He shook to the bones
And saw what he believed to be the gathering of the thorns
“They summoned demons, he said, and cursed us to die,
I saw the witches last night chanting to the lord of lies”
When the villagers heard the man who fed their hate
They sent two mortals to cease their bate
The three sisters knew their time had come
And followed the men harming none
Bound to a stick, they waited death
Hearing blasphemies, caring less
While being eaten by the flames, they whispered to each others
“The villagers, what a shame…The words shall beat the lovers.”
From the crowd, a man shouted with fear,
”We’re going to die brothers, death is coming near”
The prophecy has said, when the trinity dies,
Our nights will be ruled by the lord of Lies
When the witches were gone, dark clouds covered the sky
What’s done is done, the villagers will die
A howling was suddenly heard, a sound from no man’s land
This was just the beginning, the beginning of their end…
