She bears the pentacle
by Astro Witch
Age Group: Adult
Her worship is of nature,
its where she finds her peace.
She honours its cycles
eight times a year,
sometimes with a feast.
She reads from a range of sources,
so she can know her craft.
And she'll have the answers
to the questions,
others will eventually ask.
But secret still is her practice,
from now till time is right.
Though some she knows
have an inkling,
for why she light candles at night.
Though quiet she keeps her religion,
some people still can tell.
For round her neck
for all of time,
she bears the pentacle.
Author's Notes: Just a small poem that i wrote and thought i'd share on here. Would appreciate any feedback.
