its good to be aware, i take my children for a walk in my nature, so be aware bright bubles of being i drive them in
my big car to a place called wai marama bird santury, the meaning of wai is water and marama means moon.
we walk slowly and see things first we see a wasp on the track pulling a stunned spider my daughter danaan is very interested. then we move onwards and look in the old water pipe and there is a dead weta (a large cricket) within it we conspire to take it to the doc ranger on our return.
moving to tui corner we hear the amazing sounds of bird call , we emulate thier calls for fun and some small pewaka waka (fantails ) follow us up to the waterfalls.
after we make a circle of stone we return with the weta in danaans shoe to the doc ranger and he talks about there lifespan he is old but knowledgeable, my children have a great day......... i give thanks for this lovely place im glad i live in new zealand.
