Ballad Of A Solitary Witch

Age Group: Adult
Constantly and without rest I seek others like me,
Fellow witches and those who practice the craft,
But always do I have no luck in my tireless search,
Where are they? I can feel the presence of magic,
Lonely witch without a coven.
The one whom I love accepts me for what I am,
A witch in the future she may become of that I hope,
But for now I seek others to learn from and befriend,
This world can be hostile to a solitary witch like me,
Some look at me with disgust and hate.
But just as the sun rises each morning upon the dawn,
There is hope still for a coven for this solitary young witch,
Some have answered the call that I have sent out wide,
So with a smile I wait in the hopes that I may have a coven,
Witches like me, friends and teachers.
Author's Notes: Just a little poem about my seach for fellow witches and a coven.
