The Divine Pair

The Divine Pair
Great Mother you guide my hand and heart,
You protect me from all that seeks to do me harm,
How glad I am that we never have to part,
In times of anger or great sorrow you make me calm.
How I lived before not knowing you I do not know,
You go by many names but you are always there.
Into my life love and peace you do sow,
Taking from me every worry and every care.
Blessed Inana.
Keeper of the forest and hunter most strong,
You have allowed me to walk in your secret place,
Great Father I am never without you for long,
Though I have yet to behold your magnificent face.
When I am near you hold back the wild things,
You have shown me great kindness and given me a great gift,
You allow me to sing and dance in the faerie rings,
Always my spirit and my emotions you do lift.
