Insanity

silently i crept into your room,
what was i seeking, i could not
fathom if i was simply missing
the scent of your familiarity
but tell me why inside your room
i felt like a total stranger-
i fought the urge to run as guilt
quickly found its way to me
your photograph on the wall
how it stared at me accusingly
i knew i should not be there
and i fought the urge to weep
when i found your empty bed
and some of your writings
scattered on the floor
but none of them wont tell me
my history.
before my eyes the walls
of your room slowly melt and
weakly i fell on my knees praying,
"lord i knew i should not be here
but i dont wanna leave empty"
i remained fixed on the floor
with no strength to go or courage
to face the darkness ahead
i waited for an answer
or even a trace of familiar feeling
but i remained alone and lost
amidts the defeaning silence
all your writings had to tell
were things never known to me
i simply could not comprehend
why i felt i didnt belong at all
nothing would tell me my history.
