Trapped in the Past

Those memories keep on haunting me,
as if poisoning my mind painfully.
The toxic runs deeper through my body,
unconsciously killing myself slowly.
I want to be free of this imprisonment,
but my conscience is making me melt.
My whole night was spent
of recalling the past without end.
The memory is like being imprinted,
keep flashing like a bolt in my head.
I was trapped in the past like a dead,
and all I could do is to lie in my bed.
