No Longer Misguided

Stumbled, bruised, I got injured.
Stood up, waited, but there was no cure.
Tried forgetting, risked, but once again i stumbled.
Stoop up, waited for my rescue, waited in vain.
A routine, a habit, a never ending cycle of downfalls.
Moved on, declared a moratorium for relationships.
Declared a respite from the toils of liaison.
Superficially vibrant, my core hopelessly torn apart.
Another twist of fate led me to you.
Mysterious and discreet, undeniably intriguing.
A couple of laughs, a pinch of drama.
Alas! I found a friend in you.
Chilling images invade, terrorizing the child in me.
Be not afraid you said, i mean no harm.
I'll be your protector, from now on.
Your future is bright, go on and trek your path.
Listen to my voice, I've chosen you.
You are my priestess, my ears are all yours.
Cry your heart out, I'll wipe your tears away.
I am not just a guardian, I am YOURS..
