Blissful Torment

The feeling of being beautifully tormented, an emotional masochist, am i ?
I am longing for the kind of love that I want you to give me.
Waiting, still waiting, for that portrait, that letter, that song.
Confused, swimming relentlessly in this sea of ambivalence.
My heart loves you dearly but my mind wants more from you.
I am hurting because I am loving you. I am loving you because I am hurting.
I know you love me, I can not detest. But I am waiting for you to do what is just.
I am not making demands, I never did. I am still, patiently waiting, hurting, and loving.
Til when must I journey inside this endless labyrinth.
I am tired, but still, I am enjoying every blissful tormenting step.
I am loving. I am in love. I am hurting, but I, I am loving.
