The Labyrinth

I was caught in a Labyrinth. I wandered around at first, convinced that I was the only person trapped inside it. Wondering if I would ever get pass through those thick, high bushes, I felt helpless. I screamed and cried my heart out every once in a while, whenever the feeling of hopelessness creeps in. I learned to listen in silence, closed my eyes and felt the eeriness of the breeze touching my face. I was cold, but knowing that I was all alone made it all worse. I tried to keep my chin up, I was alone but a spark of hope is all I have at that moment, I am not going to give in. I was flying without wings, but gravity kept on trying to pull me down, trying to take away the very last hope i was holding on to to keep my sanity, I've realized, the world was cruel. My vision started to blur, the silence was deafening, though I was all alone, the place was suffocating. I am a lost soul, yearning for the light that would help me get back to my creator. Life is a labyrinth and all of us are lost souls trying to find a companion in life, wanting to feel loved and trying to find out the real meaning of our existence.
