Nightwish - for 'tis a wish...

The sky torments the sea
With its rays as passers by
I am no longer, I am dead!
I was killed, but no blood was shed!
Dressed as victory prevails.
But whose victory? Not my own!
Indeed... of a foreign one... with a strange touch...
Colour a rock to life
Unfold the remedy before me
Thou art so far and so alone
Kill the poet of the dome,
Kiss the tear that fell down
Over and over, but far so far
I care to feel a heart like this,
And go and love and stop and cry
And try to do my best I shall
At least I should and would love to
For something as great as this
Cannot be left sinking in amiss
Cannot be the way now is
I am no God, no King, no Law!
I am but lonely in search of thee
Sweet tender beat of Anarchy,
Bitter desperate kiss of passion
Of the cold wasteland of solitude.
Murmur a prayer I shall...
So that my dream is to be more than real...
To everybody, but mostly to me!
Author's Notes: This is a poem dedicated to the band Nightwish! I hope that one day they will realise, both Tarja and the rest of the band that apart - they are great, but together - they were Gods and still can be if they reunite!
