invokation to Apollo

Invocation to Apollo
O Olympian Lord Apollo Letoides, come with Paian.
Delphinic Lord, who learned the ways of prophecy at the feet
of Pan, whose aspect is the sun and sister the moon.
Oh Great Ray, whose light illuminates the world of the living
And which reaches from the heights of Olympus to pour down
the cracks into the depths of the Underworld.
Oh Great Ray which illuminates the world, illuminate my heart
and burn away my dark skin so that I may do my workings. I
forsaken can do little. Let my hands be thy hands and my
legs thy legs, my eyes thine eyes, and my ears thine ears.
Yea who art Sharer and Shalem when Helios
hides behind the curved belly of the earth, the star of the
morning and of evening, O Golden One, leave Mount Parnassos
and the Delphic Pytho, proud son of Jove, and come into my
sphere as I speak now the words of invocation.
IAO!
I invoke ye Michael, protector of the Realm, Like Unto God.
I invoke ye, Gabriel, whose horn can shatter a world,
messenger like unto Hermes. Descend from Olympos, ABRASAX,
who takes delight in the dawn, come with good favor, who
vieweth the setting Helios; ADONAI. Host of the earth, the
world trembles at thy touch; PAKERBETH!
Flesh becomes flame. It burns in the fires of time, it
falls and rises again like the redemption of Persephone.
In the crucible of thy chariots wake, sliced in twain by the
brave blade of reason, thou playeth thy lyre and set the
world to dance.
Thou who art Apophis, the Serpent of Darkness, Apollo
Python. Thou who art the lupine Apollo Lycaeus. Thou who
sendeth the Muses. Letoides, son of thunder.
I adjure the head of god, for there is Olympos;
I adjure the seal of god, which is prophetic vision;
I adjure the right hand that thou didst hold over the
world;
I adjure the bowl of god which contains wealth;
I adjure the eternal god of all; AION.
I adjure self-evolving nature, mighty ADONAIOS.
I adjure the ascending and descending ELOAIOS.
I adjure Mnemosyne, Clio, Calliope, Terp/si/chore,
Mel/pom/ene, Erato, Euterpe, Polyhymnia, and Urania, the
Muses, his companions.
I adjure these devine names so that they might send me
a devine spirit to aid me, to fulfil me in both heart and in
mind. I control my passions; they are not my masters.
I call thee, who dwelleth in Heaven and Earth, in
Erebus and Tartarus, in Chaos and Hades, where dwell the
daimons of men who once glanced upon the light. Send to me
such a one, a daimon who moveth by night by thy order, and
let him answer to me all inquiries in perfect truth and bear
me no ill will or harm. Do not anger, for I ask only so that
I might learn, as thou thyself hath arranged. Stay if thou
wilt, go if thy please. I offer you my open heart.
I call upon thy name in number equal to the Moirai;

AIEAIEIAOTHOTHOPHIACHA
Give me thy favor, thy servent, and employ me as thy
messenger and confidant, thy hands and feet and will on
earth.
