Ghosts

Ghosts of time come, enduring in refraction
Repeat the same again, no life there or reaction
But only time past and future, an echo in the corridor
Revealed only in Alberic of Liege’s ancient lore
As were the other kind of apparition, not the same
Because they move from time, intrude, and come to mayme
Break into the corridor from outside where we move
And sometimes come to take away, remove,
So where the corridor has fabric wearing thin
Be wary, lest it parts, and they break in.
A warning to the curious, that this is not a game
Not chance and time within the earthly frame
That only elements can bind the weave anew
And restore the fabric, close away from view.
