Wolfbane

The moon was full last night
Moonbeams bring a pale light
Wolfbane flowers this night time
Especially in a Southern clime
Even a soul who is pure of heart
Knows within a counterpart
At this time the wolfbane blooms
A warning now of untold dooms
The wolf is coming out quite soon
Hearing the call of silver moon
The savage beast within set loose
The light above, dark side induce
Wolves now prowling in moonlight
These are the children of the night
Dark shadows move amidst the trees
When they come, the wise man flees.
