The Goddess

She speaks to me from trees and flowers
Caves and mountains
Woods and groves
Her laughter rings through morning birdsong
and the tune of River's flow
Her dance is lit up by the moonbeams
Soft and silver
Haunting grace
Though we see her everywhere
only one has seen her face
and he is sunlight
noon and dawn
lost in evening
found in morn
black and white
night and day
ever dancing in their way
on the path of Lord and Lady
ever knowing
ever free
all throughout the seasons' circle
Lord and Lady
Blessed be!
Author's Notes: I felt like writing a half-decent prayer as this is the first night in a long time where the sky has been clear enough to see the Moon. It may not sound like much to some but being able to see the embodiement of the Goddess after such a long time has to hit my soft side.
