Those Eyes

I look into those eyes and see those eyes will never look at me
they've looked at friends
they've looked at foes
they've looked at people I don't know
They've never looked into my eyes and seen the secrets
seen the lies
the lies that hid my heart from you
though I've wondered if you always knew
and if you did
then tell me why
you made me fall & scream & cry
If you knew, then why did you
say things you knew would be cruel?
Like how the only one who comforts me
was the last one that those eyes would see
and how from that time ever on
anything I am is wrong
I knew that all my dreams were hopeless
and from the start I was a fool
I know your eyes will never see me
just as no-one elses' do
I know that who I am is worthless
and what I look like...
hopeless
cruel
but did you have to slowly kill me?
though you know I'd die for you
..........................................
She looked into these eyes and saw
these eyes will gaze on hers no more
my reflection's lying there
with cold blue lips and glassy stare
Author's Notes: I'm really sorry about the rant and if I make anyone feel bad I'd like them to accept this apology. I can't help the way I feel and if I could I would. As it is poetry is a vent so thanks for reading.
