The one i never ever knew

The one I never ever knew
There is a quiet voice within my head,
For which divine love is the seed.
It’s been my friend for many eons,
Though I have never known the need.
To contact it before now, to listen to its voice,
Though in order to do that, I have to make a choice.
‘Cause if I listen closely and that voice is really heard,
Then I, who am the listener will be gone without a word.
And yet that voice is calling, it’s calling me so clear,
So is now just the moment for me to disappear.
And when I go I know that I will not mourn me,
For I will vanish in the void of love; just instantly.
And when I think about this, and I do, I really do,
I know that I will always be the one I never ever knew.
