Fire in your eyes

I still can’t escape
The burning I see
It follows me in my dreams
I cannot fight
The fire in your eyes
They burn into my soul
Running in the night
I close my eyes
But all I can see is
You staring back
It’s not the end
Will you ever leave?
Am I tarnished forever?
Tainted
Maimed
Will I see you at the end?
…Or are YOU my end?
