Author's Notes: These are my words to a piece of music that is curiously banal in origin. It is an American concert band piece called Aventura. I highly doubt that the composer intended it to be in any way mystical, but somehow when I was 13, these were the words that came to it.
Anyone who knows the piece, see if you can figure out where the words fit in. I'd be interested to hear from you if you do know the piece, as I'm interested to know what impressions you got of it.
