Amber Cage

This love is made of amber now
and trapped inside is me.
Nothing you can do, my love,
can ever set me free.
Crying amber tears
That no-one ever sees
I listen to the dryads
Singing from their trees
Singing of princesses
who brought princes to their knees
And I am but a hedge-witch,
Loved (?) I'll never be
For my prince will find a princess
and she will be his queen.
Author's Notes: Um, yeah, this was an old one of mine I dug up.You can kind of tell too.
