Death's Romance

I'm drowning and I like it,
Smothered in your bliss,
Ended by the sound of your name,
The sweet poison of your kiss.
Who knew death could be this good?
The surrounding darkness so divine,
Slipping gently from life's tight grip,
Forever flowing crimson wine.
And now the curtain's going down,
The best is yet to come,
As I close my eyes and say goodnight,
All I feel is...........numb.
