Our One Desire

Age Group: Adult
I look to the stars,
Finding the constellations in the night sky,
They twinkle so very brightly,
Foretelling the future of our love.
I look to the moon,
Full or crescent shaped.
So beautifully lit up,
It tells the story of our desire.
I stay outside dreaming,
And see a shooting star,
Making a wish upon it,
I hope our dreams come true.
I see you standing beside me,
Embracing me as you turn.
We remain in each others arms for aeons,
Or as it seems so.
I see you lean towards me,
Closing my eyes as you do,
Feel our lips touching,
The excitement running through.
We lay down together,
Joining mind, body and soul,
Our spirits melded together,
Two hearts combined to make one.
