Witch

Have you seen a werewolf’s stare?
Or the witch with curled brown hair
Have you seen a ‘shifter change?
Or Crones who summon things old and strange?
Have you seen their midnight mass?
Held upon the open grass
Have you seen their circle white?
Have you known their embrace so tight?
Have you seen a vampire’s skin?
Or fangs, translucent hard and thin
But we have seen your horrified face
Without mercy, with cold grace
How is it that you can’t see?
How alike are you and me.
It’s hard for you to see what’s clear
For your gaze is stretched so far not near
Although in front of you it lies
You search for brooms which fly the skies
You seek the ones who are not real
You should believe what you can touch and feel
For I am real as you may be
Though I’m a witch, as clear you see
Author's Notes: I think i should really thank MM. For your ignorance, inspired this poem. Though I always say, that Ignorance is no excuse, it has helped me. Thanks to MKR, AHLW, ART, GKD, LJB, all of whom help me come to terms with this prejudice and ignorance every single day. I luv u guys
