Rag-doll child

Age Group: Adult
Through darkened halls where people stare
And desolate lands, where no one's there
There lives the humble rag-doll child
With skin so white, and manner mild
With doll in hand she roams the land
And hair so pale as grain of sand
Over land, through storm and rain
With her doll in hand she came.
Through the night and dark she walked
Though lots she knew, she never talked
She watched the world with weary eyes
And saw through all deceits and lies
She is in you, she is in me
She is in everything we see
Although so innocent she may be,
She’s seen the end and what shall be.
For she is just the rag-doll child
With wisdom bright and manner mild
She’s seen the end of you and me
She bends the fate of humanity.
Author's Notes: hey, my first poem in a while, hope you like it, i'm kind of stuck in an english lesson, and couldnt think of anything interesting to do. so here it is! more to come soon. Promise!
