Curse of the Werewolf

Curse of the werewolf
All I see is blood
Blood of the innocent and guilty
Merging together
Rippling pools of dark, dark red
Spreading out across the ground
Death cries choked with barely a thought
Their eyes turn to glass
And blankly stare
What is this curse
That has turned me into
A monster?
I can’t stop it
I can’t believe it
My stomach twists at
The sight
of mauled bodies
But inside
A werewolf sits up
and begs.
