I'll always remember

I dream of you at night
Imagine you all alone
Your beautiful body
Slowly sapped of all its strength
Your big brown eyes
Full of pain
I hope you know
I cried for you
I will always miss you
Make sure you don’t forget
What it was like to run
Underneath the stars
Be free now
I will never forget you
Author's Notes: this poem is about Pelican, a horse that I loved and I was so upset when he died I just had to write something down.
