Prisoner

All I see is darkness
Closing in on the remains
Of my tortured soul
Bones shattered
Against the solidarity
Of her hate
The smell of blood
And the taste of fear
Are all that fill this room
This room of pain
Which I have not left
For so long
I have remained a prisoner
In my own mind
No tears fall any more
I know my fate
