The first time I came here, I knew it was perfect.
I could sense the ultimate calm, peace beyond all knowing
I stopped while collecting firewood, moved by the scene ahead
It was moving in no way before.
Then, from the path behind me, the one that goes by the falls
You came to me, and the March air seemed not cold just then,
But warm as a summer eve.
If you’d known my feelings then, would you have stayed?
I remember how you left me there,
The words which escaped your mouth
Not sweet words of longing or love.
You simply turned as if you’d not a care, and said idly
‘Hurry up, they’re waiting’ then left.
If you’d known the passion, which for you bleeds my heart,
Would you have stayed? Would you have spent some time with me?
Or am I just a girl, a burden on your night and day?
Can you honestly say that I’m not special? Not worthy of your time?
Next time just look closer. See the feelings, the care. The hurt.

or last, whatever
now, i take a great risk of anyone finding out who i like when i do this, but my poetry IS open to you. This poems is dated not when i wrote it, but when my feelings for someone first started (or really started, before i was just wondering.) probably worth mentioning that i dont really get serious crushes very often, (try only twice in 16 year!) and infatuations like mine last v. long time (sufice to say that my first one, which is still on going, started when i was 3. I dont even know the guy anymore) .
So please, try and understand that i took a really big risk putting this out here, and i'd like to know what you think.
P.S. it really did happen, even though it sounds old-timey
