Hell Hath No Fury

The icy heart has melted but the scars are deeper still,
Love and trust have both turned into suspicion and a stubborn will,
She doesn't cry because there are no tears left, yelling to the emotionless above,
Who dares to take away her joy? And deprive her of hope and love.
Anger replaces her once sweet smile, a storm brewing behind blue eyes,
Visiting the cold grave of a life gone by, she gives a mournful sigh,
Dark clouds now cover the sky once blue, lightning flickers then dies away,
She claws at the earth like a frightened child, no one knows what to say.
Determination floods her mind that she'll never love again,
She wants to repay the Gods so they can feel her pain.
Fate has unleased a beast who is tired of having to mourn,
Hell hath no fire nor fury like a woman scorned.
