There is good.

Age Group: Adult
There is much good in the world
(though at times it seems so hard to find)
The laughter of children at play
expressing their delight, at blowing the seeds off
of a dandelion clock.
The soft furry bundle that creeps on silent paws
into your bed (at unholy times of the night)
and lays there purring in your ear.
The joy of a brand new book,
ready to take you who knows where and when
to worlds where new friends wait.
There is so much good in the world
perhaps it's not so hard to find after all.
