Real men don't cry?

"Be stong"
"Don't be a sissy"
"Real men don't cry"
So the mantras learnt from childhood go ever on.
But I long to sit with the psalmist of old neath the willow tree, and let the cares of this life flow away as the tears fall.
Am I weak for this admittance?
Or is it time for real men
to learn that strenghth, is made perfect in weakness.
We need to learn new mantras for a new age.
To regain the lost art of feeling and showing those feelings, and teaching the next generation
that to cry and feel is the province of the Real Man.
