Terror At the Inner Door

Age Group: Adult
A hazy fog that fills my mind
That I cannot clear
For fear.
What may I find beyond the door,
The terrors that I must face.
All very well to say.
Yet doing, a fear strikes
Let the Goddess be my strength
To help undo that chord.
That chord that was wound in childhood
Wound to say that such things are not real
Such things should not be practiced by good people.
Push open the door that is in your mind
The Goddess would not put before you something that you are not ready for.
Yet the fear grips you.
She would not push you in.
It is all in your own time.
At your own pace
To let go
And go
Into the planes not yet visited
To ask for guidance.
Yet inside you can feel her say.
Blessed be weary traveller
You have taken an important step today.
Author's Notes: I always have this fearful feeling when doing meditation work. Probably because the feelings that come through are overwhelming and I'm never sure what will happen. I wish all who pass through a peaceful and pleasent journey.
