Lost in the mists
by Pangur-ban
Age Group: Adult
I am lost in the mists
that surround me.
Lost and alone.
I have no voice.
I am unseen, invisible.
People walk through me
as if I am a ghost.
But then a beam of light
parts the gloom.
It is a Raven a lantern
clutched in her claws.
"Come" she says
bidding me follow.
I follow.
The pathway
now clearly lit,
to find myself in
a forest glade
surrounded by
Dragons, Wolves
and the Fae.
Magical creatures
to many to count.
Only to realise
this cat is home.
