Lamentation

Age Group: Adult
A tired sad silhouet , of an old woman
walks by day and night, in a shadow
and laments, the children she`s lost
She cries with tears of sorrow
when she thinks, of the old happy days
when her sons, stars and angels
sang gay songs, to the young pretty
Earth
Now, gone are the days of song, wine and love
they have, the atom bomb
The moon, is hiding , the sun, is brandishing
his golden sword, threatening
to burn them all.
They care, no more.
Suddenly,
a hand stretches out, searching for her own
two lips wisper, with love
Mother, you are not alone
Her eyes shine, in wonder
tears, roll and flow, and wild pretty flowers
appear upon the rocky soil
Mother Earth, has found, a son.
