Summerland

There is a place I`ve been and seen
So far and yet so near it lays
The sun so brightly shines
The light so brilliant it blinds my eyes
And I wondered, where am I
I`ve seen green valeys, rolling hills and trees
So much green I`ve never seen
Red slate roof tops, poking amongst them
Memories of old haunt me
and wondered, where am I
A river bank empty, lays beneath my feet
So dark and fearsome, invoking me to cross
The path of Heroes, to Eternal rest
In Summerland I`ve come, and yet
I am not to be
Her call awakes me back into my humble
Flesh and bone existence
Hold on, don`t let go she wispers in my ear
Not yet my son
And I for the love of Her, obeyed to her desperate call
I did not let go, not yet
For I Love Her.
