Ethereal (Part 9) The Holy Guide's Orders

Age Group: Adult
Killian had snuck away
From the others
Feeling conflict
Rage in his mind.
The forest aroung him
Seemed to be filled
With that strange voice.
It claimed it was not evil
It put its faith in Faye
Was this not the
Opposite of what
The Holy Guide had said?
No one saw him
Sit down in the grass
And look up at the sky.
His head was filled
With muddled thoughts.
No one saw him
As he got to his feet
And raised his hands
To the sky.
"Oh how can this be
Did I not dream of
The fight in the pub
Because of Kathy's
Flirtatious ways
Before it actually happened."
Then to Killian's
Absolute surprise
The Holy Guide spoke out.
"Oh naive Killian
You have been decieved.
Did you honestly think
Any being would admit
To being evil."
Killian thought upon this.
If he had stolen from another
He would never admit it.
"Oh naive Killian
That voice belongs
To an evil spirit
That speaks lies as truth."
Said the Holy Guide.
"Its goal is to
Take away humanity
From all that is good
And spends time
Squashing the innocence
Of those foolish enough
To listen to it."
Killian felt an icy grip
Fall upon his heart.
He had it in his mind
That Faye was being led
Into the evil ways.
"Your friend Faye
Is either horribly evil
Or horribly misled
As she draws her strength
From that spot."
Now Killian did not want to
Think ill of Faye so said.
"I think she is desperate
With the father she has
Treating her like a slave."
Then the Holy Guide
Seemed to get angry.
"She has forsaken
My will and never
Hears what I say.
She is not a listener
To the voice of goodness.
She has barred me
From her heart and mind."
Killian was frightened
By the anger of the Holy Guide.
He was also frightened
By what the Holy Guide had said.
Surely Faye was not evil
Yet still none would admit to evil.
"Remember the vision."
The Guide told him
And the vision flashed again
Before his very eyes.
"This must be prevented."
The Guide said
And a fightened Killian agreed.
"To prevent such tragedy
You must leave Karmia for a time.
You need to purify yourself
And send my message to others."
Killian agreed
And set off back home
To prepare himself
To fulfil the Guide's wishes.
Author's Notes: Part 9 is here. It's not a funny as part 8 but I still hope you enjoy it.
Parts will come in more frequenty now as otherwise this is going to take a looooooong time as it's a looooooong story.
