Ethereal (Part 16) Killian versus Trixie

Age Group: Adult
The morning rose
Upon the pilgrims
And Killian stood up
To give his speech.
Kathy looked at him
Somewhat calmer
Than the night before.
Trixie also looked at him
Wondering what Killian
Was going to say this time.
And Seamus looked
Watching and waiting
For he knew that
A fire amongst friends
Would break out.
"Friends and followers."
Killian trumpeted out.
"Listen to what
The Holy Guide
Has said to me."
They all looked at him
Waiting for what he would say,
Wondering at the message
The Holy Guide had sent.
"Friends and followers
The Holy Guide
Has been netrayed so cruelly
By someone we once called a friend."
"Back home there was
A man named Will
Who we all trusted
With the bottom of our hearts."
("That's a whopper
If I ever heard one."
Trixie whispered with a laugh.)
"We respected him.
He was upstanding
But he has now betrayed us."
Kathy, Seamus and Trixie
Looked on feeling puzzled.
Will was not the cleanest sheet
But how could he have betrayed them.
"Will has crossed into
The Holy Guide's
Most sacred ground
Polluting it,
Poisoning it
Causing the air in it
To become rank and smell."
"Did he fart in it?" Trixie asked
And all around her laughed.
"This is serious,
Will is a traitor and an enemy
As he has defiled this
Most beautiful and holy land.
He refused to join our journey
So that he could betray
The Holy Guide."
"Hang on Killian." Trixie called out.
"Will stayed behind
Only to be with his fiancee."
Killian shook his head
And shared the logic
That the Holy Guide had shared
With him in his dream.
"Will was there
At the evil Haunt
And supported Faye
Even though her beliefs
Go directly against those
That the Holy Guide
Gave to us."
"Now this Power Haunt
Is a place of great evil.
Only the wicked and foolish
Would ever draw their strength
From such a place.
Faye did so
And therefore
She is thus,
And since Will supported her
And asked her
While treating me
The Holy Guide's messenger
With nothing but contempt
He must also be thus."
"He is an enemy.
He has poisoned a land of beauty.
I saw it in my dream,
A valley of the most beautiful nature
And a valley filled with flowers
Wafted with pure air and fine weather.
Will poisoned this
To a dead land of decay.
He is an enemy"
Now the new followers
Were filled with a terrible rage
That none could ever explain.
They screamed out
Many curses upon Will's head.
Kathy and Seamus both were silent
But Trixie, being Trixie
Spoke up in Will's defense.
"Killian you stupid twit
Will respected Faye
Not because he believed her,
For Will doesn't believe anything,
But because Faye is shy
And sensitive and kind.
She has never hurt anyone
In her short life.
"You by contrast,
Are filled with gas
You upset Kathy
You no longer listen
To anyone with any brains.
Why should Will or anyone
Show respect for someone
Who shows no respect for them
And who is unwilling to listen
To anything different at all."
Killian then turned
Upon the loud, bold Trixie.
"You are an enemy
And you are a hypocrite.
How can you tell me
To listen to others
When you yourself
Do not listen to
The words of the Holy Guide.
May the Holy Guide punish you
For your insolence and irreverence."
Killian then stormed off
But Trixie just laughed
Earning her some
Filthy looks from the followers.
Seamus went after Killian
Hoping to calm him down
While Kathy went to Trixie
Wanting to be cheered up.
