Ethereal (Part 23) Let Him Have It

Age Group: Adult
Now of course when told
That you have work to do
But not being told what it is,
You want to know
What it is that you have to do.
Trixie decided
That after several days
Of Killian's speech
Regarding the message
Of the Holy Guide
She wanted to know
What it was that
The Holy Guide wanted.
She went up to Killian
As many had done before
But while they asked
With a little caution
And ever so gently
And with the utmost courtesy,
Trixie took her normal approach.
"Killian." Said she.
"I demand to know
What it is that
The Holy Guide
Wants us to do.
"How are we supposed
To prepare ourselves
If we do not know
What it is
That we are going to do?"
Killian simply said to her
With the utmost faith
"The Holy Guide will ensure
That we are prepared for everything
That is why we should
Put our utmost faith in it."
Trixie would not
Accept this answer.
To her it was nothing
Short of stupidity.
"Tell us Killian
Having that much faith
Is foolish.
You might as well
Lead us off a cliff
With that attitude."
Killian still refused to tell
For the Holy Guide was saying
"Not yet, wait some more."
"I will only say
When the Holy Guide
Tells me to."
At this Trixie blew a fuse.
She had gone through enough.
So finally she really
Let Killian have it.
"You have your lips
Practically on the
Holy Guide's bottom.
You do everything it says
You never ask it questions
You never ask why."
"I know why!" Killian shouted.
"If you had seen that horrid vision
The one with Karmia on fire
In absolute ruin
With nothing but death and violence
Then you would know
Why I lead you all on this path?"
Trixie simply folded her arms.
"You're giving me a headache
With your utmost stupidity.
That vision may be a metaphor
For your own insanity.
It is no proof that
The Holy Guide is trying to save us.
The Holy Guide has shown me
Nothing of love or kindness
Only hared and intolernace.
Why should I follow it?"
Killian then saw
That Trixie was no longer affected
By the power of the Holy Guide.
"Oh Holy Guide tell me
What evil has taken Trixie over."
There was a moment of silence
Until the Holy Guide spoke out
"Faye."
Killian felt sick.
In his mind he could not believe
That Faye was evil.
But the Holy Guide had said so
And Trixie was no longer affected
So therefore it must be so.
"Faye is responsible
For blocking Trixie off
From our glorious Holy Guide."
Trixie stood up again
"The Holy Guide
Simply just has a grudge
Against Faye
For spending time at
The Power Haunt, "
Killian shook his head.
"Because of that
Faye has become evil."
(Kathy and Seamus
Looked shocked and concerned.)
"She has truly forsaken this path
And pull others off it
Against their will."
"She did me a favour."
Was Trixie's response.
"Faye is evil." Killian continued.
"She must be destroyed
Before she can affect anyone else."
Now Kathy and Seamus
Were very uncertain
That Killian stood before them.
Trixie simply shook her head
And laughed at the thought
Of an evil Faye.
The followers however
Never having known Faye
Were absolutely convinced
That she was evil
And a terrible threat.
They called for her death
Shaking Kathy, Seamus and Trixie
To their very hearts.
