Ethereal (Part 29) Crusade

When Killian had shown
His followers the Holy Guide
Trixie also had things on her mind.
She was convinced
That Killian was a puppet.
That he was being used
Since the Holy Guide
Could possess him so easily.
Seamus came over to her
After Killian had held him up
As an example to the rest.
He looked distressed
So Trixie listened
As Seamus explained how
He was not the shining example
He thought too much to ever
Be completely submissive to
The Holy Guide's will.
Trixie nodded
Knowing Seamus well.
He was to smart to allow
A half insane entity
To brainwash him.
After Seamus had left
Trixie decided the inasnity
Had to be stopped somehow.
Yet she did not know how.
When they returned to Karmia
Trixie had it in her head
That what the Holy Guide wanted
Was not something pleasant
Or easy to do.
The Holy Guide
As far as Trixie was concerned
Had presented itself
As hateful and horrid
And Trixie made a decision.
She would start a crusade
Against the Holy Guide
Perhaps Seamus would join
Kathy may do to
But she would not rely on them
For they were more afraid
Than she ever would be of
The Oh-So-Holy Guide.
If it killed her
She would know
That all opposition
Was silenced with death
And that it truly was wicked.
"Submit to my will
And you will be protected."
The Holy Guide's voice
Echoed in her head.
"Shut up!" Trixie snapped
"You never get me to submit
To anything, let alone you.
"If you want me dead
Then kill me now
Without using Killian
To do it."
The Holy Guide
Was not impressed
To say the least but it said
"I shall give you another chance
To submit your will to mine."
At that Trixie burst out laughing
(Much to everyone's shock.)
And called out.
"I knew it,
You simply need someone gullible
Like Killian
To do your dirty work.
You are not an
Omnipotent being at all."
Then Trixie turned serious
"You are simple a piece
Of old rubbish that
Has corrupted Killian's
Good character.
He used to be so kind
But then you came along
An manipulated him."
Trixie thought back
To when she had just turned
Eighteen and was able to drink.
For the first week
She had been thrilled
And drunk herself dizzy.
One night she was so drunk
That she fell over and
Sprained her ankle.
She couldn't get up
And laid there in pain
When Killian came along
And helped her off the floor
Laying her arm over his shoulder
And helping her to her feet
So he could get her home
Where she could recover.
From then on
He warned her not
To drink so much
As not everyone in Karmia
Would have helped her up.
Trixie had agreed
And when he got her home
And she was sat on her chair
With her injured ankle
On a cushion
She had decided to lower
Her drink levels
And thanked Killian
For his kindness.
Now Killian seemed
To have lost his kind touch.
The Holy Guide had used
Killian's kind nature against him
And thus it was fading away.
